As we reflect on 2025, one thing stands out clearly: this year was defined by meaningful electrical projects, strong partnerships, and opportunities to push our craft further than ever before. From highly customized residential homes to complex commercial and community-focused projects, 2025 challenged our team in the best ways possible.
At Grounded Solutions, we believe electrical work is about more than wires and panels—it’s about building systems that support how people live, work, and connect. Each project below earned its place as a favorite not just because of its scope or scale, but because of the collaboration, problem-solving, and pride involved in bringing it to life.
Here’s a look at some of the residential and commercial electrical projects that made 2025 such a memorable year for our team.
Favorite Residential Projects
Custom residential projects continue to be one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. In 2025, we were fortunate to work alongside outstanding builders and homeowners who trusted us to help bring their vision to life. These homes required careful planning, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how electrical systems can enhance comfort, safety, and everyday living.
Custom Home in Holiday Farms
Builder: Executive Homes

The custom home built in Holiday Farms stands out as a hallmark residential project for Grounded Solutions in 2025. Partnering with Executive Homes, this electrical project allowed us to deliver a comprehensive electrical system tailored to a truly one-of-a-kind home.
From the beginning, this project emphasized thoughtful design and functionality. Large custom homes like this require more than standard electrical layouts—they demand systems that support modern living while remaining flexible for future needs. Our team worked closely with the builder and other trades to ensure seamless integration of lighting, power distribution, and specialty systems throughout the home.

What made this electrical project especially important to us was the level of coordination involved. Holiday Farms homes are known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, and our electrical work needed to meet that same standard. Every fixture placement, panel layout, and circuit plan was designed to enhance the home’s architecture and the homeowner’s lifestyle.
This project reflects the type of residential work we aim to deliver every time: clean execution, clear communication, and electrical systems that quietly do their job while elevating the overall experience of the home.
Custom Home Electrical for Whicker Construction
Builder: Whicker Construction

Another standout residential project in 2025 was a beautiful custom home where Grounded Solutions completed all electrical work for Whicker Construction. This electrical project exemplified the trust and collaboration that define successful builds.
Whicker Construction is known for quality craftsmanship, and we were proud to support that reputation by delivering a complete electrical system from rough-in to final trim. The scope included power distribution, lighting, and all supporting electrical infrastructure needed to bring the home to life.

What made this project particularly meaningful was its complexity. Custom homes often come with unique design features that require creative electrical solutions—vaulted ceilings, specialty lighting layouts, and carefully planned spaces that need both form and function to work together. Our team took extra care to ensure the electrical systems supported the home’s design while remaining efficient and reliable.
This electrical project reinforced the importance of strong builder–contractor relationships. Open communication and shared standards made it possible to complete the project smoothly and deliver a result everyone could be proud of. It’s a great example of how collaboration leads to better outcomes for both the builder and the homeowner.
Custom Home in Pemberton, Zionsville
Builder: Executive Homes

The custom home built in the Pemberton neighborhood of Zionsville was another favorite residential project of 2025. Once again working with Executive Homes, this electrical project showcased the value of consistency and trust built over time.
High-end custom homes like this one require precision at every stage. Our team focused on delivering an electrical system that balanced performance, aesthetics, and long-term reliability. From carefully planned lighting designs to robust power systems that support today’s technology-heavy homes, every detail mattered.

This project was important to Grounded Solutions because it highlighted how our residential expertise has grown. Over the years, we’ve refined our processes to better anticipate challenges, coordinate with builders, and deliver results that align with the expectations of high-end neighborhoods like Pemberton.
Seeing the finished home come together was incredibly rewarding, and it stands as a strong example of the residential work we’re proud to deliver across central Indiana.
Favorite Commercial Projects
While residential projects allow us to focus on detail and personalization, commercial work challenges us in entirely different ways. In 2025, our commercial projects required large-scale coordination, tight timelines, and innovative electrical solutions. These electrical projects pushed our team technically and logistically—and that’s exactly why they became favorites.
Activate Games – Fishers, Indiana

One of the most exciting commercial projects Grounded Solutions completed in 2025 was the transformation of a vacant Party City retail store into an Activate Games Entertainment Center in Fishers.
This project was significant not only for its size but for its complexity. Activate Games facilities rely on thousands of interconnected systems, each requiring precise power delivery and coordination. Our scope included rebuilding the main electrical service, installing the general electrical system, and providing extensive conduits and raceways for the thousands of I/O points that power the individual games throughout the facility.
In addition to the interior work, we also installed new outdoor neon flex lighting that completely transformed the storefront. The result was a bright, inviting exterior that signals excitement and energy—exactly what an entertainment destination should convey.

Why this electrical project mattered so much in 2025 was the level of technical expertise required. Converting a standard retail space into a high-tech entertainment venue demanded careful planning, adaptability, and close collaboration with the client and other trades. It was a true example of Grounded Solutions stepping up to meet a complex challenge and delivering a system that performs reliably under constant use.
This project also represents our growing role in adaptive reuse—taking existing structures and reimagining them for new purposes. That’s a trend we expect to continue, and we’re proud to be part of it.
Home-A-Rama Infrastructure for BAGI
Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis

One of the most unique and rewarding electrical projects of 2025 was providing temporary power for the Home-A-Rama event for the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI).
This project wasn’t about permanent structures—it was about creating reliable infrastructure that allowed an entire neighborhood event to function smoothly. Grounded Solutions provided temporary power throughout the Home-A-Rama site so vendors, tents, and booths could operate without relying on generators or pulling power from individual homes.
The logistical challenge of this electrical project was significant. Coordinating with the power company on a tight schedule required careful planning and precise execution. There was no room for delays—everything had to be ready on time for the show to open.

What made this project especially important was its impact. By providing clean, reliable power, we helped improve the overall experience for vendors, builders, and visitors alike. It’s a behind-the-scenes effort that many people don’t see, but it plays a critical role in the success of events like Home-A-Rama.
This project highlighted Grounded Solutions’ ability to think beyond traditional electrical installations and deliver creative, practical solutions for large-scale community events.
Looking Ahead
Each of these electrical projects represents more than just completed work—they represent growth, trust, and the relationships that drive Grounded Solutions forward. In 2025, we expanded our capabilities, strengthened partnerships with builders and organizations, and continued delivering electrical systems that support how people live and gather.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to build on this momentum.
